Mirage-2000 is a single engine multi role fighter jet manufactured by French firm Dassault Aviation . It was first inducted in to Indian Airforce 34 years ago and is considered one of the most versatile and deadliest fighter aircraft. It played a decisive role in the Kargil war in 1999 turning it in India's favour and was also deployed for surgical strike on terror camps in Balakot 20 years later in 2019.
