Topic Description:

The K-4 is an intermediate range submarine launched ballistic missile developed by DRDO. It is powered by solid rocket propellants and is considered to be highly accurate with a strike range of 3500 km.This manoeuvrable missile has an innovative system of interlacing in three dimensions which makes it difficult to be tracked and destroyed by anti ballistic missile systems . Once inducted this homegrown nuclear capable strategic missile will add more teeth to the firepower of Indian Navy .
