After more than a year of talks, the new trilateral trade deal has been signed between US, Canada and Mexico. The new deal USMCA brings about major changes on cars and new policies on labour and environmental standards, intellectual property protections and some digital trade provisions. The deal still needs to be ratified by all the three nations.
