Inauguration of Shri Guru Bhairavaikya Temple

Recently, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Shri Guru Bhairavaikya Temple at the Sri Kshetra Adichunchanagiri Math located in Mandya district of Karnataka. This temple is a samadhi memorial built in the memory of the 71st head of the Math, His Holiness Dr. Sri Sri Sri Balagangadharanatha Maha Swamiji. About Dr. Balagangadharanatha Maha Swamiji:

Dr. Sri Sri Sri Balagangadharanatha Maha Swamiji (1945–2013) was the 71st Pontiff of the Sri Adichunchanagiri Mahasamsthana Math. He is widely respected as a prominent religious and social leader in Karnataka. He transformed the Math from merely a spiritual centre into a powerful global institution of social service. His well-known principle, “Anna, Akshara, and Arogya” (Food, Education, and Health), represents a holistic model of social welfare.
