AI Adoption in Healthcare in India
Context:
Recently, IndiaAI and the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote the responsible and scalable adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in India’s healthcare sector.
Objective of the Project:
The collaboration aims to combine IndiaAI’s technological infrastructure with ICMR’s expertise in biomedical research and public health to create an interoperable AI ecosystem for healthcare. It seeks to improve diagnostics, disease surveillance, healthcare accessibility, and evidence-based medical research through ethical and responsible AI adoption.
